If you do not care what the players think, you can continue to ignore what they have to say, sweep it under the rug or whatever. Just know that other than "groupies" -- for every comment that you receive (positive or negative) there are at least 8 other individuals with the same opinion who do not speak up on the subject. While I understand that the weather is not something that you control, I also know that when a game is not played, you do not pay for umpires for that game. And while weather postponing a game or two is not cause, losing an entire day of field usage to rain would get SSUSA a full refund for every field for that day. So if you think that people do not care about what happens to this money, you've got another thing coming. You should be happy to have players like impster23 who take their valuable time to give you feedback about their experience, because it gives you the opportunity to correct the situation before teams stop coming to your tournaments. |
