Discussion: Knee Surgery or replacement

I had micro fracture surgery 5 yrs ago. I have been able to run at the same level that I was before the surgery. I play the outfield and it is not an issue. If you get the micro fracture you can always get the knee replacement later. Good luck!

Discussion: Still waiting for a rational answer

It seems Tugboat keeps referring to himself as a 65 M+ player when in fact he is a 60 M+ player. If he could understand that I think the conversation might be over.

Safety is in senior ball with no collisions at home, an orange base at first, wearing a mask as a pitcher. I had a chance to lay the pitcher out but thought he was going to pull up. Go play checkers? Nobody plays harder than I do. You can ask any of my teammates. I could have seriously hurt that pitcher if I hadn't tried to avoid him as I am much bigger than he is. The director said it should have been interference and I was just trying to get some thoughts not sarcastic comments.

yes the pitcher has the ball. He was not going for a tag. I was the runner and suffered a mild concussion due to the impact. The pitcher would never have been able to get to the base before me without running right through the bag and right through me. He did beat me to the bag but due to his angle he ran right through me. It was a bang bang play. Both players went flying in opposite directions. I thought it was reckless and dangerous in a sport designed for safety. The call was incidental contact.

What is the call when a runner is running in line to hit the orange bag at first base and the pitcher runs at a 90 degree angle and collides with the runner while trying to beat the runner to the bag?

Go to a motorcycle shop and buy glasses used for riding at night. They are awesome and cut through the glare.

Try Westgate. They have good prices with decent amenities and is just off the strip so easy in and out.

Always hesitate as there is no going back with knee replacement. I had micro fracture surgery about 18 months ago and I am running as well as ever. Rehab is very important but replacement should be the very last option. Good luck!

I played with Az Old School the last 3 years. They are a great bunch of guys and they are very organized. They also have a major and a AAA 55 team. It allows you to continue playing with many of the same guys as you move up in age. They are a very good team with great attitudes. I highly recommend contacting them. Let me know if you want contact info. The only reason I stopped playing with them is that I now live in Chicago.

I have just relocated back to the Chicago area from Arizona. I will be living in Orland Park Il. I am looking for a 50 men's AAA or major team. I am classified as a major player. I play outfield, first base and pitch. I played for Az Old School. Please feel free to ask for reference and I can give you the coaches contact info. We were AAA and then moved to major after winning Southwest championship and California South championship in 2015.
