It's great to have this type of resource to be able to obtain valuable information. I was curious as to the under armour. Does it make a difference if I get the heat gear or the cold gear type leggins? Also, anyone out there from the Rancho Cordova area,(by Sacramento)? I live in Utah now and haven't been in that area for 26 years. It would be cool to hook up with someone at one of the tournaments. Thanks again fellas. Pete |

My son plays high school ball and he and his friends always had me fetching them pickles. I thought it was a superstition. What's in the juice thats beneficial? Pete |

| March 9, 2007 pete88 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: pulled leg muscles I'm 50 years old and for the past 3 years I've had problems with pulling my hamstrings mainly. Over the past 17 years, no matter how much I stretch or wrap myself, the upper part of my legs are extremely sore after playing in tournaments that last 2 days or more. I'm very active,(lift weights, jog play basketball etc), but it seems when I run the bases,(I'm fairly quick) thats when the most aggravation occurs. Is there anything out there that can help me out? I've seen a portable ultrsound machine for $250 that's supposed to help. Anyone have any pregame rituals that have been effective? The last tournament in Phoenix that I was at I had to take myself out after the fifth game. I aggravated a hamstring, groin and quad muscle. Any advice will be appreciated. HELP!!!!, Pete |

Have been competing in mens upper division here in Vernal,Utah. Recently played in the Huntsman games. My first senior tournament(AA). Hit almost .800 with a double, 3 triples and an outta parker. Very quick. I can play anywhere including pitcher. I'm trying to get on a traveling team. From what I've seen I feel I can compete in at least the AAA level.I will travel anywhere. Recently played in the Huntsman World Senior games for Showalter Ford out of Vernal,Utah. I just turned 50. I have excellent speed, above average glove and bat. I can cover a lot of groung in the outfield or infield. Can also pitch. In the HWSG I went 17 for 22 with a double, three triples and a out of parker. Love the game of softball with a passion.
