I'm not in support of intentionally trying to "blow up" the pitcher unless provoked by the opposing team doing it to my pitcher which has happened far too often and we take care of it by going back at theirs & then it stops... The objective of our sport is to reach base safely regardless of where you have to hit the ball to get there. If you cant field your position don't play there. And before anyone comes at me and says "why don't you pitch" I will say I have tried and I cant throw a strike to save my life :) I would gladly stand in front of my pitcher to field batted balls however. |

To clarify, my previous post was up BEFORE you posted times. Locations I get, however some may choose to stay closer to Elk Grove versus Sacramento with fuel prices etc... Just take into consideration that some of us do like to plan accordingly. Sad to see so many teams drop for the 50 majors side. I play for Rolfe & Co (50 Majors) on field G @ Bartholomew 230 Friday if you would care to continue this discussion then. Thanks again for all you do! |

We, the players, appreciate what you do and understand that sometimes things don't always go as quickly as we would like but your response was just a tad snarky (IMO).
