| July 12, 2023 9 ball | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Player tournament eligibility 70+ AAA reside in RI. What teams would I be qualified to play on for "qualifier tournaments?". Willing to travel anywhere outside my region, but teams are restricted it seems as to who they may carry on their roster. More difficult than I thought it would be to hookup with travel team for some tournament play. Been told I'm good all-around player. Play outfield and 3rd/2nd base with strong arm,linedrive hitter,run well. Play local every week on 3 60+ teams in RI. I'm 70 AAA and retired. See you next year and be safe. Geo |

As a 65/70 player, what tournaments and teams would I be eligible to play for? I'd like to make myself available as a player to any 65/70 team needing help for an upcoming tournament. Consider myself an average player for my age group, can play any position you need me at. Being a newbie,not sure where I qualify to play, as a RI resident. I presently play on 65+ local teams 3 days per week. I enjoy the competition, have fun, and support my teammates. As a new SSUSA member,with no past documented player history, my player rating is AAA. Any invites or advice is welcome. Tku George |

I'll call HQ and sign up today for my 70-74 slot...$75 fee appears to be reasonable in support of the organization and to establish my status. This is my 2nd yr of participation, with no prior history to form an evaluation of my abilities. I consider myself an average player within my age group. I would like to make myself available to teams for nearby qualifier tournaments. What is my player status? What, if any,restrictions are imposed as to which teams I may play for?
