Discussion: Robert's Construction, Wisconsin major looking for 55 players for 09

There is not a better bunch of guys than the players that play on the Roberts team. They are all a class act. I am so glad you guys are moving up to 55, I was tired of the butt whippings you kept giving us:)

Discussion: Prayers for Greg Holden

With deep sorrow I would like to let the senior community be aware of the passing of Greg Holden\'s wife. Greg played this previous year with Midwest Express and as anyone who know him will attest to...he is certainly one of the nicest and classiest gentlemen in the game. Please say a prayer for Greg and his family in this extremely tough time. Thank you.

Nancy...should be a great tourney....is it too early to call for the draw? (11 am Indy time)...I see that on Tim's webpage that all adult tournaments this year at Midwest would be "bring your own ball". I am assuming that is not the case for this weekend?

I see that the Brickyard Classic for the 50\'s division is for AA and AAA only. Last year the major/major plus division was very competitive with at least 6 strong teams. Where exactly are the midwestern major teams supposed to play with virtually every tourney being listed as AA/AAA only?

Gentlemen,
I came on the board to post the results of the Ft Myer tournament and I see this thread. My name is Rich Herring and I play on the Chicago Classics Gray team. If you read the thread above, I hope that gives you a glimpse of what kind of person the team had to deal with.Jim Beatty was a member of the team but after several warnings about poor sportmanship and derogatory remarks about team mates and opposing players he was asked to leave the team. He constantly screamed from the outfield when our pitcher walked a batter or an infielder made an error. The final straw was when one of our teammates pulled a hamstring while running to first and had to "pull up",Beatty screamed at him for not hustling.
Any one who knows the Chicago Classic organization knows that we are competitors but at the same time try to exhibit proper sportsmanship and conduct ourselves as gentlemen. This type of behavior could not be tolerated.
As co-manager I hope this puts an end to this nonsense and I wish everyone happy holidays and look forward to seeing everyone on the field next spring.

Chicago Classics Gray won the 50AAA. They lost the first game of the tournament and came back to win 8 in a row to win it all.
Chicago Classics also won the 55AAA tournament.
The Indianapolis Brickyards won the 50 AA
