Hell, its hard hugging a man when OUR bellies are in the way. I have to admit, I did get over 2 years of hitting in league and Tourneys. Well over 400 from each of my Grey Combats. I really thought that I was over the Reebok(3 bats cracking) thing, but when my Reebok (USSSA) Vector cracked, and its not even a senior bat. I felt discussed..Sad..... I still have my USSSA Miken (Freak) and Combats {Virus) both are older and used for BP. Ed, Wayne Wilcott, sorry guys I tried to use your product. Sorry about the comments, but the truth will set You Free. Amen |

But the LIEs about the 400 plus swings..COME ON MAN! Every time I look up, A Post says That this shity bat has Cracked or something. I have two bats with well over 600 swings, A Miken Legacy, and a 2004 Miken Freak (ASA stamp). Everything else has cracked. I will try the Vet. when it comes out. But please spare me the LIES...............Oh yea I got 500 swings, What you mean is I'm a ground ball base hitter, and I don't swing hard, thats why I HAVE 500 SWINGS ON MY BAT! |

I've had 3 end loads and now a Usssa Vector Crack just last week. 4 Reeboks in 1 year. The Bat has POP, but their not worth the paper I wipe my ass with. The Seniors end loads did not last over 80 swings each. I was the pitcher for Ron in BP, when the labels and name started peeling off, with just 5 swings on it. So all this 400 swings is a bunch of bull shit. Or there are some weak ass men out there. The Bat is a piece of shit guys. Really guys, save your money and get a Worth or Combat. JMO |

I've seen T ball pitchers get hit by batted balls and no one put a Mask on them. I have them (Mask) but don't always wear them. But I do wear shin guards and a Cup. Hell I wear them at Third too. Hey Webbie there are a lot of Major/Major+ Pitchers who cry about the middle, I hear it all the time. Every since I stared playing Senior Softball. And we started with Aluminum bats. Every ball that I have ever hit a pitcher with was truly an accident. I don't and can't hit the side of a barn if I tried to. I hit the ball were ever it is pitched. Its on the Pitchers to field the ball or get the heck out the way. I have dodge a few balls in my 20 plus years of pitching. |

It’s hard to find a bat, when you don't have the correct name. There are a few guys on GSF that have Combats. Ask Mike Adair. I've seen him swing the Yellow MM combat and the Gray. He swings a 30 oz, how do I know? I cracked 1 of his Ultra IIs years ago. |

Hey Webbie, It does not matter which senior bat you get, you are still going to crack bats, with that hard line drive swing. I have the same problem(I hit the middle of the ball- flush). Last year I cracked 3 yellow Reeboks, with less than 80 swings on each one. 1 Grey combat and 1 Centenarian combat. The Grey Combat after 150 swings was hotter than the Reebok or the U2. I did get over 300 swings with my Gray Combat.it did last over a year. Try Combat But check this out....... The best Senior Softball bat is..... ........... Miken Ultra II Legion 1.20bp (They only made them 1 year) I have a 28oz and it been thru 3 years of BP and Tourney games, and its just starting to loosen up. If there is anyone out there that has a Silver/Black Ultra II Legion and would like to sell theirs, Looking for 27, 28, 29, and 30 oz…………. No 26oz please, Really looking for the heavy bats. He hit some Monster shots while playing for the Mavericks. But he is or was one dimensional to my knowledge. All he did was hit, but man, could he hit. He would hit 300 balls at BP. Bat speed and strenght are the deciding factors to hit with power. My furthest hit balls came from throwing my hands. Hitting the bag or tire stops your swing once contact is made. You end up taking a half to 2/3 swing. Muscle memory Baby, So You have to practice taking full swings, after the tire work out. Also work on your lats, Biceps, Triceps, Back arms and fore arms. Believe this Guys, You can be Stronger than you are Now, You can be faster, than you are Now. We as Seniors MUST lift weights and Strech those muscles. Practice running(Muscle memory Baby)wind sprints you will get faster than you are now. USE IT OR LOOSE IT, BABY |

When I first started playing Senior Ball, a Team mate named Jeff Gilbert (who could really hit the long ball) told me to hang a tire up and hit it as hard as I could with my bat. Well it works. I later turned my 80lb punching bag (that was hung up in my garage) in to a BP work out bag. Yea Man it works big time. Keep swinging Muscle memory Baby. |
