| Aug. 1, 2009 balco | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: would players come to arkansas mad dog my man, i am in the little rock area. i would not care where the tournament would beheld, texas, here, mo.,ok, i just thought it would give some folks that are not getting to play a chance and then guys who are on a team could branch out and play as well. just some thoughts. softball is chiking its self off, with prices being so high for travel, the tournament associations need to make it more player friendly. tournament fees are high then u have to pay your membership dues, younger players dont have to pay to be part of utip or asa, the team pays a sanction fee and thts it. less home runs every year, the major teams and major plusdon t want to show up and be placed in a tournament where AA is playing and not be able to hit. i hear this all the time. |

| Aug. 1, 2009 balco | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: What about free agent teams added to tournaments? this is exactly waht i have been begging to do. i post on here all of the time wanting to play. with the rules so strick teams will not take a pick up. i guess some guys get offended when you post more than a couple of times from some of the comments got. then someone gets on here and deletes your posts. i want to have a super draft, where you go pay an amount and play all week end. there are enough teams where no one has to sit. show up on friday split into groups and coaches pick, then u play. or start on sat have a deadline then go into the tournament and play through sunday. stop limiting home runs so folks don t try and hit the middle, have a time limit and maybe a hrs a game then a foul. there are like minded folks out here so lets play |

| July 19, 2009 balco | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: arkansas player (AAAor Major) i played first base for the silverbacks last year. i can hit for power and average. i played three tournaments with the texas silverbacks last year, i was selected to the all tourney team in tulsa, allstar team in dalton and mvp in dallas. i have not had the money to play this year so far, so the silverbacks had to move on. i play 1st,2nd,3rd,pitch and outfield. i played d and e tournaments with the young guys and had over an 800 on base percentage. i am a good teammate and make everyone better by keeping them up. i can provide references. i know there are teams that need help. call me 501.658.7875 or email rhinos40@aol.com |

| June 12, 2009 balco | Topic: Teams looking for players Discussion: 50 plus major or AAA last year i played for the texas silverbacks, i played first base for them. i made the all star team in georgia, all tournament team in tulsa and mvp in the texas state championship in nov. last year. because of financial problems i have not been able to make any tournaments this year, i have played local in arkansas where i am from i hit for average and hit the long ball as well as anyone, i am a very good team mate and can make an impact just being on the team, i am very positive. i am looking for a Major team or AAA, i would prefer a sponsored team but my situation is a bit better. i was picked up by a B/c team this year as well but since i could not commit to the silverbacks i have not played with them. i can play 1st, 2nd, or lc,rc in the outfield, i will be happy to EH or catch on a good team. the backs have 14 players and the coach does not want to shake things up with the players they have, there are no hard feelings, i just want to play senior ball. call me 501-6587875 or email me at rhinos40@aol.com. you will not be disappointed. david larkan |
