Discussion: Willie Hunter of Reality Check softball team

I am sorry to hear this. Willie was a good friend to my dad and I and also a good person to be around. Our prayers go out to his family and softball friends.
RIP my friend.

LL and Bruce,
You guys need to tell the TD just to refund your money. Teams should not be able to decide what teams they will play but the associations don't have the balls to tell these teams to stay at home if they are too scared to play.
No team should have to drop down a age group.
Later and good luck all,
Donnie

Harry,
Welcome to our world. We had to do this for the last few years. It is not fun and most directors don't understand the age difference.
Good luck,
Donnie

Birdie,
PSL beat the Bucs and then beat us the first game. We beat them in the if game.
The competition was really good and PSL took us to the mat. They are a great team and hope to meet them again somewhere along with the other 60 teams.

Discussion: just wondering

Larry,
In the major plus division you find out really quick where your weak spots are. If you don't fix them and get beeter it turns out to be a long year.
You also can't afford to have many bad games. You have to be on top of your game all the time because you can be beat by any team and sometimes badly if you don't perform.

If aaa is the largest division on average I would say aaa. It is harder to win against more teams. You have to play better and can't afford to have any bad games.
I seen in Phoenix in a 25 or so team bracket that many different temas will win if the same tourney is played multiple times.

Bruce,
When you keep beating up on teams they will move you up. You guys need to be playing plus anyway. Now there will be more competition.
Who did you guys beat this past week?

Discussion: 60's Team Ratings

There are probably only about 6-7 60 major plus teams that still play or travel to the big tourneys. Most of the teams listed DO NOT exist anymore.

Discussion: What should a healthy senior program look like?

We have been playing major plus for 8 years and where are these so called move up teams?
So there should be 8 winners from the major division in spa and ssusa and have not seen the teams move up.I seen Ruth move up after winning the 60 major and played major plus for one year and then moved right back down to major the next year.
Nobody wants to play at the top of the divisions except for a few teams that like to play major plus againstthe best compitition out there.
The problem will never get fixed because the associations let most of the teams out there sand bag and never move up. How many times should a team win a division and still be allowed to play in the same division?
