July 14 mad dog Men's 65 4191 posts | NSA is the only assoc with senior play that gets it right....it is the same ball NSA has been using for senior play the last 2 years....usssa,asa are now using it,usssa for the last 3 years...we use the 52 for league(senior and open) here in tyler,and have been for the last 2 years....no one whines or complains about it....i like it for our senior league very much...... |
July 14 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | Last year my flat belly team played in Columbia, SC in the NSA regionals where they used the 52/300. Many of the SC teams have learned to hit down on the the ball causing it to bounce high, usually for an infield hit. |
July 14 TexasTransplant Men's 70 516 posts | That's the difference I noticed playing in the NSA Senior World Series in Gadsden last year; a lot more bounce in the ball. I didn't notice any significant difference in the distance. |
