THE 52 BALL IS GOOD TO GO AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED....WE HAVE BEEN USING IT THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS WITH NO COMPLAINTS......BALLS GET HIT OUT ALL THE TIME FROM THE BIG BOYS......WHAT I HAVE SEEN THO,IS SOME OF THE REGULAR (BASEHITTER TYPE)GUYS GET SOME DISTANCE FROM THIS 52 BALL COMPARED TO THE 44.....
TO ME IF IT IS ABOVE 85/90 DEGREES I'LL TAKE THE 52 OVER THE 44'S..UNLESS IT IS AN ILLEGAL MCT BALL..WHICH VEGAS USES........
OK AS FOR BETTER BALL
1-AD STARR TATTOO
2-DUDLEY
3-TRUMP/EVIL
4- WORTH HOT DOT

modi.....you are kicking a dead horse.....i have been suggesting using this ball for at 3 years now,but the ego's won't allow it...everyone has to be babe ruth now a days and hit the hr.....
all the assoc i play in now use it(ASA,USSSA) in the young guy div's....why don't we....the ball is way safer and still goes out....we use the ball in our senior league(run by ASA rules)and also use our senior bats.....everyone has a great time, and no complaints about using the ball....oh,also we have had no serious injuries by being hit with the ball, just bumps and bruises....

staff...then essentially you are stopping the game early....why shouldn't the home team if down be given a chance to come from behind or at least take the game out of mercy....only fair way to do it.....that rule with run limits per inning is not right....

team a gets their 5 runs every inning....team b doesn't but has a couple of inning where they would of done big in scoring but is limited to the 5 runs, but now are down 15 in the 5th....how can you let a mercy rule go on with limited scoring allowed.....if ya want to let us score unlimited runs each inning....yes let there be a mercy rule...but not with scoring capped per inning.....i have seen and been on teams that have come back from a big deficit to win games....

Discussion: Mask or Pitcher Protection Screen

screen for bp yes...and even then it gets in the way of how ya pitch.....no moving side to side..unless you don't mind letting the batter know how/where your gonna pitch him.....yes it is the best protection tho......i prefer a mask and shin guards.........

melee is legit.....also with the 52 ball you can still use the senior bats and not worry about balls flying out of the park...we use this combo for our ASA senior league and have no complaints what so ever from anyone......

duke i turn them in anyways as it is construed as a copyright infringement by the mfg'ers....shaving the bat and keeping it to look like a stock bat on the outside,is the infringement they say......

as for the pitching thing,i do the same and actually will tell them why i'm doing it,loud enough for the other players around to hear....let them explain why they are using a dirty bat.......

HJ when i wonder thru ebay and find one of these a-holes that advertise to shave/roll bats,i'll turn them into ebay for illegal products....not sure if anything gets done or not,but at least i do something.......

joe from what i have heard the ASA bats are that now, since ASA now will be using the 52-300 ball....hence the reason USSSA doesn't allow them for their assoc.... i don't understand their reasoning for this as USSSA uses the 52-300 ball(classic +) also...they do have the 40-325(classic M) that in cold weather is as good as most balls, but in the heat is a sock

the syn covered ball i have heard doesn't preform as good as the leather or composite covers......as for the ball i like the best ..it is the AD STARR tattoo 52-300 ball as this ball is from the inventor of the ball.....

keep hitting them joe you'll like them.......

rustoman...just go with the 52-300 ball and the beast mode will be gone.....hr hitters will hit their hr's,but you won't see the mishit ones by guys who never hit them in their life, like you see with the senior equipment we use for the senior org's.....

bruce if the clowns want to spend money to shave an ASA bat for the 52 ball...let them waste their money..won't do them any good...

AZ..mine is attached with velcro...i also put some stick on type on the chin pad...guess ya could also sew it on also...keep it out of the heat as the one on the mask will come loose....

Discussion: All the hate on DBO with senior bats...how about this?

perl the bats they use are what the assoc they are playing in..they no longer get juiced bats...go check an USSSA event...all bats are check (and most times are put in a barrel near their dugout)so they don't get to use anything over the limits set forth by the assoc.....

ace ,you have it right..the rip-it mask is all metal and has great vision...i have been using mine for the last 2 years, whether pitching or playing the infield.....

fred do you mean schutt fielding mask,as i found no schultz....the schutt looks just like the rip-it..you should really like it.....
