July 16 War Eagle57 Men's 55 4 posts | Looking to join a team in Baton Rouge. I have not had any response emailing the league contact. If anyone has any info let me know. Thanks |
July 17 Ho 301 posts | I think I would probably (1. Call Marc Palmer, (225) 273-6401 (Number listed on the same page with the web site listing) (2. Call the East Baton Rouge Parrish center (listed on their web site) (3. Go down on Monday night to the field they show they play at (Oak Villa Sports Complex) You should be able to learn something,,all depends on how anxious you are to play and how much effort you want to put out to find somewhere to play. Good Luck Ho |
July 21 Train Men's 60 20 posts | I would call Richard Smith @ BREC. 225-273-6403 for league info. What age bracket are you wanting to play? |

July 23 Train Men's 60 20 posts | war eagle57 a sr. league team will be practicing this Sunday at 2:30 at the fields behind Team Toyota. I know you would be welcome to come out. Captain's name is Sid Don't know why we do not have tournaments because we have a nice complex on Oak Villa Parkway. I don't think we have had a tournament since the National Senior Olympics a few years back . Wish some of the softball associations would call Jerry Stovall who is president of Baton Rouge Sports Foundation. 225-382-3588 and get one going. Have 3 casinos, good restaurants, good weather ,and New Orleans an hour away. |
