If your first reference WOULD have said MCK71 an NYGNY instead of HO and NY it would have been no problem.
So if that is what you meant MCK71 and NYGNY then excuse me.

ED:

It is difficult to call you with info because you will not answer the phone if you do not know the caller and your phone message box is full and will not accept any messages.
You do not list an e-mail address so SSUSA and SPA can not reach you by e-mail.

I remember the HOWARD FURNITURE bat which came out in the 60's (sold by the HOWARD FURNITURE POWER HOUSE TRAVEL SOFTBALL TEAM at their exhibition games}...the same time SLO-PITCH got huge when players who couldn't hit fast pitch and pitchers who couldn't get anyone out found slo-pitch easier to play.
Batting averages soared from using the "lead pipe" 36-oz to .500 or better from guys who couldn't hit .200 in fast pitch.
It (HOWARD BAT) also cut down on the different weight, size of wooden bats and the varieties of metal bats (water loaded, bent handle, bottle, half n' half, etc) that were available in the early years of slo-pitch.
Fast Pitch softball was the greatest game but when you reached 35-40 you were too old and couldn't keep up with the game.
To all you old fast pitch players , do you remember when slo-pitch leagues started and most of the manager/sponsors were "rag-arm" pitchers who surrounded themselves with the best talent available so they could now shine as a slo-pitch pitcher on a really good team?
Still have that HOWARD FURNITURE bat in my closet.
Thanks for the memories,
Ho

Marty; For what it is worth, SPA runs their COLUMBUS, OHIO tournament the week before MILWAUKEE and drew 52 teams this year.
SPA runs its 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70 MAJORS in DSALTON JULY 18 and drew 60. Teams last year
Columbus tournament would definitely be a similar draw for teams, while SPA MAJORS would not be as big of a hit.
Just my opinion.
Good Luck whichever way you go.

It was LANSING and his question was how many 75 teams played. ZERO played although one had originally registered,í

Apparently they are looking for tournaments in the Midwest. With more than two 75ís. The only ones i know are Shelbyville, Barberton and Columbus. Maybe you know others which would help him.

Sylvania, ohio has a couple of sr leagues and five or six travel teams which play around five tournaments per year.
They also host their own tournament...the original Great Lakes classic in July/august which draws 50+ teams.
Top notch organization , check it out.
