senior softball bats
Hello to all. I'm new here. I was fishing for any thoughts on Demarini The Ones senior bat and Mikens Triad blackout senior bat. Anybody tried either one. Good...Bad...

Only one of those two bats that I'm familiar with is the Blackout. I bought it primarily as a BP bat do to its perceived durability. When the big power hitters I know say it takes around 700 hits to break in, I'm convinced that I'll get several years use. But, this bat, once tuned in, can be used during competitive play. At 5' 8" and 150LBS, being a consistent power guy is not my offense, but my first hit to land in the warning track of a 300' field was with the Triad. But, improving my hip rotation, regular bat speed drills and wrist curls might have assisted in adding an extra 20 feet.

Diesel I got a triad and just waiting for the weather to get better to try it out. The durability factor was big in my decision to buy one. I haven't played in about 15 years so I hope it gives me a little extra pop. I'll message back after hitting with it, which looks like it will be at least 2 weeks from now.

Miken really addressed their durability concerns with this new Triad blackout. Haven't heard of but one failed blackout all year. Does take time to brake in though.
Haven't heard anyone give the Demarini much positive remarks.
