Need to get what is called a turp procedure due to a prostrate issue. Doctor tells me I will be fine in a month and good to go for softball May first. Wondering if anyone else had this and what there recovery time was.. Any info would be appreciated. You can email me at jjm1665@icloud.com,if you don't want to,use the forum. Once again ,thanks for any suggestions .

Mannjo, I had TURP in 2013. Your Dr. is being very safe with you. A month is very adequate, I was back playing in a couple of weeks. My procedure was in mid afternoon, went home the following afternoon. Took it real easy 1st day home and just rested, 2nd day up and about and fairly normal. After that, pretty much back to normal schedule only with greater flow. Did scare the heck out of myself quite awhile after recovery when I passed chunks of blood. My Doc said it was normal for quite awhile to have areas that are healing break off. I passed some blood occasionally for about 6 months. No pain, good to go fairly quickly. Good luck.
