I am reviewing the board for a while and decided to finally register. I have noticed that a Gary19 has alot of contrived opinions. Does anybody here play with him or has anyone ever seen him play. If so, I would like confirmation regarding his alledged skills.

I have never been fond of someone that consistantly crtiizices others questions or ideas. However, if he has the skills to back up his claims, maybe some things may be justified.

I appreciate it.

Have never met him but have had a lot of threads back and forth with him on various boards. He has a lot of good ideas and comments and I think that we basically think a like.

Like myself his is an agitator at times and likes to stir up the pot so to speak.

The key is to dertimine when he is doing either.

I have to agree with some of House#33's post. I am all for constructive criticism and discussions of softball topics. However, some people definitely come across as being negative thinkers. Not a big problem with me though as I don't have to live their lifes. However, too much criticism, especially when it gets personal will stifle discussion.

Personally, I don't have much respect, nor give much validity to those that choose to remain anonymous. However, I would say being able to be secretive on your identity, allows some people to say things they don't have the conviction in their own heart to say, if their identity was known. It doesn't mean what they say is not true, it just means that they are not willing to stand up for their beliefs.

Gary 19 has jplayed ball for years. He loves the game. At our age, does it really make a difference of our softball ability. If weith his love of he game, he enjoyed his life and raised a kid, with his dad being the hero of his life, then Gary 19 is a commendable guy. He is very quite and respectful from what I know of him. I have played senior ball for several years now, and it seems to be getting worse with all of hte knit picking. Could it have been with the beginning of the composite bats, did the entire attitude of senior softball change. Some of us have to wake up and smell the coffee. We are NOT getting any younger and just go out there enjoy the game and on the way, try to make a few new friends. And if a reing is keeping you from all of his, I will give you one. Guys, summer is upon us...enjoy that game that we hve dearly loved...stay healthy and good luck..........
