Las Vegas Worlds Last Session 50's
Looking at the fields for last year and now this year I show 2 more complexes added. I know it states some may not be used which is what I am looking for. What fields will be used for the Oct 3rd-7th?

SKings24 ... Field utilization is the result of the convergence of the following data items ...

• Number of teams in the aggregate and in the respective divisions;
• Games demand for the divisions, generally about 3.2 x the number of teams; and
• Local League restrictions affecting each facility, by day ..

We'll know more about how those variable play out as we get closer to the entry deadline and we gain experience with Session #1 (Men's 55+ and 60+) under the new four-day format ... About the only thing we have ruled out is the City of Las Vegas parks ... Lorenzi is no longer tournament-acceptable as configured with just two fields and Doc Romeo is not available to us for acceptable usage ...

I appreciated the reply I was just seeing what fields for sure are on the list and then adjustments made which I understand. Besides Doc Romeo and Lorenzi any other parks lost for that session?

I see Lorenzi has been nixed and the comment above is it's "no longer tournament-acceptable as configured with just two fields". Also listed as potential complexes to use are Dos Escuelas, Desert Bloom and Russell Road, which are all also 2 field complexes. Will these fields be in the rotation even though they too are 2 field complexes?

I think most people would agree that Lorenzi, even with only 2 fields now, is still vastly superior to these other 2 field complexes still listed as potential venues (Russell Road is the only complex even remotely close to Lorenzi). Are there other conflicts or issues that keep Lorenzi from being used?

Just trying to understand, not pick a fight I can't win. I just really like Lorenzi as a venue and I am bummed it's now off the list completely.

Fortunately we only had to play one game there last year but, Russell is a terrible field.
