Discussion: 50's tournaments canceled
I know there are several fifties teams in Arizona so why have so many of the tournaments in the last year been canceled?? I'm hearing it is because of a certain director teams refuse to play for…Can I get some feedback from other teams and let me know if this is truly the reason
Difficult to play for somebody who doesn't have the dates right for his own tournament; SSUSA had it right on the schedule but if you clicked on the tournament info. page it was 2 weeks off! The director was notified via e-mail and there was no response. Feel like we're being taken for granted!
There are really not that many 50 teams here. We have three associations battling each other and they do not get along, so they schedule tournaments the same weekend and fight to get teams. What ends up happening is either a tournament gets cancelled or they move the 50 teams to the 40's bracket. I believe most 50 tournaments have an avg of 4 or 5 teams.
Thanks guys . Just trying to figure it out. Our team whatever quit playing 40's because quite a few of us can play 50's but it's turned to crap. We should've just stayed together.
