Ball stops in foul territory with about half inch of the ball sphere over the clearly marked foul line. The ball does not appear to be touching the foul line, but about one half inch of the ball is over the foul line. Fair or foul? |

| May 22 shortstop33 37 posts | what's the ruling on ball over the foul line If any part of the ball is touching the line it is fair, even if the center of the ball is in foul territory. Just saw that on you tube, the ball was in foul territory, but the out edge was hanging over the line. |
