70 Major Plus teams playing in Vegas
It is early but I know a lot of teams are working on the 2024 schedule. We are wanting to come and play in Vegas this year, hoping some of the Ca. teams that are 70 major plus will comment and hope we can finish our schedule up. I myself really like to see some old friend again and play some softball too

Hi Don, unfortunatley Enviro-Vac Marauders is unable to play in Vegas in April. I will be missing too many players to field a team. We will be playing in the Rock N Reno tourney in late May and the Jim Sherman Memorial in Salem Oregon in mid July. I'm sure Doug will have Timberworks at both those tournaments and I'm hoping Over the Edge can attend them too. Don, thanks for posting your message since there are not many 70M+ teams, it's nice to see a few more teams interested in participating in SSUSA tournaments in 2024. Good luck and hope to see you on the field this year.

Hi T-Mon-I heard Enviro-Vac had split into 2 teams, one at 70 and one at 75. Have you been able to fill both? Hope to see you guys in Reno!

Yes Webbie, half the team aged up so Jim K is coaching the old guys and I get the kids. It took awhile to fill our teams but hopefully I think the 70 guys should be fairly competitve and I know Jim will field a strong 75 team. Both teams will be in Reno and Salem for sure. As you know it's always tough to find M+ players at our age. Will you be playing with the Scorpions again this year? You all were a class act last year, very tough team to beat. Best of luck to you Webbie, always enjoy chatting with you when I am coaching 3rd base.

T-mon-thank you and always a pleasure to compete against you guys. I think I first met you about 15 years ago, I think. Yes, our Scorpion team is a bit stronger, but a lot hinges on if we can stay healthy. We should see you guys in Reno. Best of luck and say hi to the guys for me!
