I turned 50 this summer and was a little reluctant to play SENIOR softball. I played at the major level for 15 years with teams such as Steeles Sports, Capital Insulation, Ritches Superior, and Team Easton. I accomplished a lot in that time; I have not played for 8 years. Then I got a call to play in 2 tourneys with the Mavericks 50 over team and I thought what the heck. Boy was I surprised, I could not believe the talent in the senior game in all ages, or the CLASS and Competiveness. I am hooked back in the game I thought I would never play again.
I also work for a sports company that has some GREAT Products. If you go to the web site taisports.com you can check out our line of products - we have the best shoe on the market. We also have a new line of uniforms that are one of the most comfortable and coolest I‘ve ever worn. If you email me @ ron@taisports.com I can take care of you and your team.
Thanks and I am looking forward to seeing you all in 2008.

Hey Ron, Wondering why you didn't mention the great Sierra team you starred on circa 95-96? I was one of the few spectators that witnessed Cresons game tying slammer and your walk off dinger against the " unbeatable " Team TPS at the 96 rain swept " Smoky ". My belated congrats for one of the most memorable comebacks I ever witnessed. Welcome to Senior Softball, and I hope to see you play some where..

Ron is new to the senior game but not to competitive softball. Ron is Ron Parnell, by the way. He isn't the type of guy that likes to throw his name around so I'll do it for him.
I'm sure that I'll take some heat from him over this but I've taken heat before.
There has been a lot mentioned about the 'best player in senior softball' in the past. In reality, there can be no serious discussions about this without including his name in it.
