we played in the 60's tournament,i was surprised that for such a big tournament,we only had one umpire in the seedings,no score keepers, some umpires were not too well informed of senior rules, the game score keeping was done by fans and family of both teams, the one umpire per game was not involved at all in keeping track.there was a few disagreements of how many runs were scored during innings, forcing stoppage of the games to recap the scores. this is not right, i guess the idea was to save on expenses by the association putting on the tournament. i also went the following weekend with the 55's,same setup. hopefully things will imprve in phoenix in 2004.
