| July 8 bashbro1 Men's 70 267 posts | Looking for immediate help with our 60’s roster that has been decimated with injuries to finish out our 2008 commitments and to field a full team for next season. Need 2 or 3 guys at a minimum right away that want to play “Major-Type” (above AAA level) Senior Softball team, 60’s division, located in the Pacific Northwest region. Skills: Must be able to run for yourself, preferably good base running speed and defensive skills. No DH’s or catchers need apply, we have plenty. Either infielders or outfielders or pitchers are welcomed as we can move people around for the best fit. Should be able to hit for good average, say above the .650 mark and .700 would be ideal. Also must have some semblance of reasonable power is required but you don’t have to be a bomb squad guy by any means. Some nominal monetary help is provided by our sponsor to players for each of the 5 or 6 major tournament trips to far away venues requiring air travel.
