Why No Reebok Melee Legend Videos?
The Reebok Melee Legend has been demo'd for several months now.

But I haven't seen any videos anywhere.

WHY NOT?

Just wondering. What exactly would a video show?

Thanks
This is the first video of the bat that I've seen.
It would seem that there would be lots of videos of the Legend in action all over the net by now.
Do you know of any more?

softballnuts, We are always looking at testing in unconventional ways.
Companies give you the normal stuff but we try to give you data on areas the companies dont.
If you have any ideas you would like us to try send me an email at obagain@yahoo.com and if we can we will do it.

Have you guys done anything with bat warmers?

Do they make a difference?
Or are they just a bunch of BS?

They do help some but if the ball is frozen the bat warmer is not going to help much.
If the ball is harder than normal it will cause more flex in the bat which will break or wear out the bat quicker.
If I lived in a cold climate I would use one but since I am in texas we dont need them enough to justify the cost.

Thanks for the info.

OK!

Now for my BIG Question:

Did you guys open up a Melee Legend?
If so, what is it that's giving it so much pop and durability?

Tell me about those tall white batting tees.

Did you make them?

How did you do it?

Yes I made them, the plans have been around for a while.
I think someone on swingmechanics did the first one.
There is a vid on how to build those also, it is easy and cheap.

softball nuts, no, we dont do tests to give away company seacrets,We do tests to check pop and durability but I would never give info an material used or resin used.
We dont open bats unless they are already broken so there is no doubt we dont swing cheater bats, that is why we did the vid becauase we get accused of it so we decided to have fun and make the shaving vid.

for ya's that don't want to go thru the trouble of making a tee, look at the schutt travel tee(bought mine thru direct sports, and i think softball sales also has them).i'm 5'10" and i can adjust it from knee(lo side) to hi chest for upper area(it advertises going up to 56").it runs about $30 last time i look.i have had mine since the late 90's(98 or 99,can't remember) and it is still going strong.use the baseball cup with it,mine came with both, and i have only used the baseball cup and have over 10 years service on it,with the cup still holding up.i got at least 5k swings on it,mostly likely way more, since i usually swing at least 100 times when i go out to use it.

i'll have it at TOC if anyone wants to check it out.
