CRUSASDER

Didn't see you there but your ears must have been there.
While scouting RUTH I heard someone in the opponents dugout " If RUTH wins it all they will probably be AAA next year "
Simply amazing. They put up 25 in 5 innings,
coasted the 6th and didn't bat in the 7th.
Truly Major + .

According to G19, Senior bats are
a weapon.

Are you allowed to carry one?

8 on our 15 man roster slide.

The common thought for the other 7 is:

If you have to slide - you you took
1 base too many .

This is a win-win situation for G-19 and
us.
With bills to pay and kids in college he
can make some extra money and afford to play Senior Ball next year.
We then benefit by seeing the Great One in action.

Discussion: Is winning the most important thing?

How you play the game shows some of your character.
When you lose people see all of it.

Leave it on the field.

We don't invite players full of themselves back again.
Seems they don't in Ohio either.

Discussion: Made in USA Ultra II

Have a black Ultra 2 27 oz.
Have had it over 4 years .
Call it my Tank .
Well over 2000 hits on it .
4-5 guys use it every game .
At least 6 tourneys a year .
Never ever used in batting practice .

I saw the USA model in Utah .
Looks Great .
Teams were using it in the rain .
One guy on our team got one .
2-3 guys used it every game .
They used it in batting practice
with the balls real wet .
They used it in the rain and sleet.
Really performed well .

I got one before we left
Haven't used it yet .
It is my backup for when
the Tank goes down .

Looks like a great bat to me .

Discussion: Leave It Go

I talked to the Brass at the TOC and they assured me
that they won't go to the 52 ball .
Since then I've talked to lots of players on 50's ,
55's , 60's and 65 teams . Seems everyone I've talked
to is happy with the way things are . The one's that
want the soft equipment just want to extend their career at a position they can't handle any more . ( Don't hit it so hard that I can't catch it like I used to 20 years ago . )
The guys that are hitting it are 20 years older , too .
The Majority has spoken around here and at tournaments I've been at .

Practice what you preach . Lead by example .
If you want to use lesser equipment , go to tournaments that
offer it .

Discussion: Pitchers rubber

I know a pitcher who never wore a cup until 5 years ago. He is 58- has been pitching since he was 18. Great defensively, ( one of the best ever) he can snag a ball that is already 4' past him. Anyways, during pre-game warmups the catcher threw the ball back to him ,it was low, it hit the rubber, down he went and he's been wearing a cup ever since.

Soccer has been one of the reasons for a lower softball/baseball participation in our area. If they didn't play when they were younger they don't play now.

C-you've been on this board for 3 months
and you are in everyone's face. You must be involved somehow with dumming down the game for your profit.

Count the people that post. It = 6-7.

I'm not stealing- I'm agreeing.

Omar Kahyyam- Do you use all your 50 year old belongings? No, you keep up with progress.
The guy doing 40 was speeding not cheating.
Were you bullied when you were a little
guy? Sure seems like it. Maybe you should fence in your backyard and play back there, You should be pretty safe.

I took the poll that no one knew about.
If you move to a community because you like it and than you change your mind,
why not just go back to where you came from. It's a free country, you guys that want a slower game should start your own association and play by your own rules- all 6 or 7 of you. Quit tyring to derail SSUSA. If you don't like it, why waste your time?
When other associations have the rules you seem to want, why not just play those.

YES-- LIVELY BALLS AND BATS

I won't pay good money to play with less.

P/P - M/D ,

No problem, I've been busy with Mr.
MUSKY. One more week and I'll put the boat away.

Try a #200 S/P with wire and a no-bo leader.

You can run them down to 30 feet with no problem. Or 5-6 counts across on a level-wind will get 15-17 feet.

On the controlled pass, pull the rod 12-18 inches and let the S/P flutter
back.

They'll JUMP ON IT 90% of the time on the drop.
