Went thru this myself…58 yrs young, playing 50 Majors…but can't be classified lower to play 55's…unless you hold out playing for a couple of years! Aloha, Fabe

Swung a new one last week...team mate had one...felt ok. Didnt compare with my Ambush gamer! But the Z was brand new....felt a little too flexy in the handle for me, but seemed as good as most new senior bats. Aloha, Fabe

Discussion: Courtesy Runner on Base n is Up to Bat

Mahalo for the rule clarification…I does change strategy of the game if the player on base is not penalized with missing a turn to bat if his choice caused the third out! Fabe

Discussion: Courtesy Runner on Base n is Up to Bat

Staff:
Rule 8.5 (4) relates that the out is at the base n does not effect the runner's turn to bat, unless it is the third out. If that runner's decision to run causes that third out of the inning does the runner still leads off the next inning with batting? Mahalo for any clarification! Aloha, Fabe

Suffered with this via injury a couple of years ago....went to a specialist, rehab, took shots. What finally work was getting inserts from from a store called "Step Ahead", they take imprints of your feet n prescribe a specific type of insert. In two weeks I had great results! I continue to stretch n wear my inserts...no problem since. Aloha, Fabe

Discussion: Please Forgive My Naivete!

How refreshing it is to read a post that encourages n challenges us as players! At times we forget or take for granted the opportunity we have to play this great game. I have been fortunate to be part of a Club (various aged teams), live in all year playing conditions and grew up watching some great players excel this game to what it is today! I have stated "I hate losing more than I love winning", but my perspective is changing!! I am bless to be part of this great game, I hope I can influence the game in a positive way n leave it better than when I started. To all of you who labor throughout the year with all the stuff of softball Big Mahalo, may you experience much joy in 2015 doing what you do…For the rest of us, I pray we have a safe, healthy and bless 2015! Aloha, Fabe

I agree it's an honor…I have played with many players thru-out the years n we always wanted to play against the best! But now that we are older many of them are chasing"The Ring" n wanting to stay as low as possible!! I do enjoy winning rings, but I enjoy it more to beat the best!! Aloha, Fabe
