Gorilla Boy

Mike, have you heard much about the noise in the handle on the U2 Black bats. A bunch of us got these in Montgomery recently in a group deal. Not sure if it affects the bats performance but it sounds terrible. I've heard this sound before but not in a brand new bat.i believe the bat is defected. Your thoughts

Just got a U2 Black Maxload and have approximately 50 swings on it. The handle has a rattle, sounds like the metal rod is loose. Anybody else noticed this with this type bat?

Are the Rocket Launchers you're hitting prototypes or actually bats from Kelly's. Just wondering because they say the bats won't be available until April 1st.

The Rocket Launcher won't be available until April 1st per Kelly's. Interestingly they have offered a buy back after 30 days if you don't agree this is the best senior bat. Not sure this offer has ever been made before?

Have hit the Adidas Melee, balanced model, and this looks to be another really good bat. Distance wise was comparable to the Dudley.

Discussion: Who's going....

My guess is that these 55 Teams will be there

Montgomery Swarm 55s
Southern States
David Bowen Sports
DT Express
Bob Sykes

If Tn Connection and the above teams show up it will be a very competitive tournament

There are so many really good bats out right now and a few new prototypes going around for testing. I was wondering what bats people think are best.

I swing the 12" Dudley Lightnings and really like them. Very durable with good pop.

I hear the new Combats and Adidas bats are very good. Also the latest Miken line seems to have a lot of fans.

Appreciate your thoughts

So sorry to hear about Chester's passing. He was truly a gentleman and he loved softball. He will be missed by many.

Discussion: prayers for T Rex's (Terrell Stokes) wife, Becky.

Terrell and Becky have been together for over 40 years. Very seldom do you see T-Rex at a tournament without Ms Becky by his side. These two are the ultimate team. Please pray for these two wonderful people as they face this most challenging time.

Just received word that Wayne passed away last night. Wayne was truly one of the Great Guys who always had a smile on his face and was a pleasure to hang out with. May God Bless Wayne's family during this most trying time.

Gonna miss you Big Fella

So are you saying, even though it seems the majority does not like the Trump Stote ball especially in hot weather, that this will remain your official ball for next season and beyond?

Wayne is such a good man. It's always a joy to see him at the ballpark. He loves the game and plays the right way, with class. Prayers sent for Wayne and his family.

Why not come out with a list of approved balls and have teams hit their own ball? That way the organizers wouldn't to supply/chase balls and teams could hit the "APPROVED" ball they prefer.

My bet is nobody would hit the trump stote, especially in hot weather.

Big E, good luck on finding the missing pieces you need. This is one of the best dudes in softball right here.

Brad, thanks for the kind words. Look forward to seeing you and the rest of MLM in Dalton. Your swing is money bro, no doubt about that. Keep busting it, just not against us.

Many of my team mates don't visit this site. I just sent them the phone number and let them know you need a couple for Birmingham.

Unfortunately our team, Affinity Elevators, couldn't make this tournament. Hope you get enough to play.

As a guy who often prays after games I am honored and humbled to share my faith with fellow softball players. I respect those who may not believe and don't want to participate. Passing judgement on anyone is way above my pay grade. I love being a witness as well as hearing others do the same.

Alan, which bat are you testing, balanced or one of the end loads?
