Congrats Bruce and the entire Georgia Impact team. That was a very strong 50M division at the Smokey. That has to be a sweet Championship for you guys. Way to hit it.

Have played 3 SPA tournaments this year and the Baden balls we've hit were all superior to the Trump.

In Pensacola we have two Senior leagues

A Tuesday night league and a Saturday league. Tuesday night is a little more competitive.

Many tournament players take BP together on Saturday mornings at Exchange Park.

We also have two very good 50 tournament teams, Doc Cs 50M and Affinity 50AAA team.

Tallahassee also has a 50M team.

I hear there's a senior league in Panama City.

Discussion: Do we pay to play by the hour??

Watched the young guys playing the HOF dual last night. They play seven innings games.

They have no time limits
They have no 5 runs an inning limit
Thier HR limits range from 8 to 16 depending on classification match ups

Playing 7 Inning games is possible and should be the norm but seniors have been programmed to except the 5 or 6 inning games.

If the young guys in the Conference can get in 7 innings it makes no sense why seniors can't.

So this bat is better than the Dudley Lightning 12" bat?

When you say "best short barrel bat" are you talking durability, performance or both?

There are three versions of the Rocket Launcher.

Two (1 balanced and 1 end load) are senior bats so they're not ASA approved

The other is an "all association" bat

Unfortunately the 55 division in our area is hurting for teams while the 50s and 60s are in good shape. I wish the tournament directors would offer to the teams combing the 55M - 60AAA and the 55AAA - 60M. This would give us all more teams to play.

Now that the Rocket Launchers have been sent out I was wondering what people think of them.

I have about 50 swings on mine. The 1 1/2 oz end load will take some getting use to. I'm glad I went down an oz as recommended by Kelly's, this is a heavy feeing bat. The bat, IMO, is not hot out of the wrapper but does have decent pop. Looking forward to seeing where performance is after a couple hundred cuts.

Mike, have you heard much about the noise in the handle on the U2 Black bats. A bunch of us got these in Montgomery recently in a group deal. Not sure if it affects the bats performance but it sounds terrible. I've heard this sound before but not in a brand new bat.i believe the bat is defected. Your thoughts

Just got a U2 Black Maxload and have approximately 50 swings on it. The handle has a rattle, sounds like the metal rod is loose. Anybody else noticed this with this type bat?

Are the Rocket Launchers you're hitting prototypes or actually bats from Kelly's. Just wondering because they say the bats won't be available until April 1st.

The Rocket Launcher won't be available until April 1st per Kelly's. Interestingly they have offered a buy back after 30 days if you don't agree this is the best senior bat. Not sure this offer has ever been made before?

Have hit the Adidas Melee, balanced model, and this looks to be another really good bat. Distance wise was comparable to the Dudley.

My guess is that these 55 Teams will be there

Montgomery Swarm 55s
Southern States
David Bowen Sports
DT Express
Bob Sykes

If Tn Connection and the above teams show up it will be a very competitive tournament

There are so many really good bats out right now and a few new prototypes going around for testing. I was wondering what bats people think are best.

I swing the 12" Dudley Lightnings and really like them. Very durable with good pop.

I hear the new Combats and Adidas bats are very good. Also the latest Miken line seems to have a lot of fans.

Appreciate your thoughts
