Topic: Players looking to join a team
Discussion: Offense AND Defense

I am looking to play on a major team in Southern California that understands that a great defensive team can be just as potent as a great offensive team. I am 55 and I can play anywhere on the field but my best position would be short stop because I have a strong accurate arm. I just started playing senior ball last year and am enjoying it but I realize that my window to be great is small and I want to win now and as often as I can until my arm falls off. I will hit 700-850 and no one on the team will hustle more than I do. I have been a difference maker on every team I have played on and I know I will be on every team I join for the foreseeable future. I am not trying to sound cocky. I know what I have to offer. After witnessing the worlds in Vegas last weekend, I realize that a great defensive team can separate itself from most of the other teams who give up too many runs to make up for on offense. If you feel the same way, feel free to contact me. Thanks.

I just started playing tournaments this year and may be interested in changing teams. I currently play on a AAA team as the shortstop and pitcher. How do I say this without sounding conceited. I will make your team instantly better. I guess that still sounded conceited...definitely cocky. Anyway, I live in Corona and would like to know what is out there. I would like to move up to at least Majors. Thanks.
