| Oct. 21, 2016 Mannjo | Topic: Bats Discussion: knee problems Big cat, I had a similar issue. You do lose power because sub consciously you feel pain. In place of knee replacement ask your orthopedic surgeon if you are a candidate for what is called accu- fill. It is a newer procedure in place of replacements. I had this done last November ,it takes about six weeks of recovery with PT. Google it. Also have you tried the gel shots? It is a series of three shots,with a gel that lubes the knee. Just some thoughts. Good luck. |

I lost my son ,who also was named Timothy,last August ,due to a heart attack,while playing a hockey game.He was only 44. Luckily no children.. Your whole world is turned upset down by a phone call. It is something you will never get over,but as the days go by start to accept.. You will have good days and bad days. Take your time and grieve. Stay busy and stay strong for your family. Just keep remembering all the funny times you enjoyed together. Well best of luck and stay healthy and if you or your family need professional help ,do it. |

Mike did this for me. Plus my bat issue was different than just a crack or break. I needed to talk to a person that was involved in the engineering end. Mike pointed me in the right direction.,but it ultimately became Miken's call. If you have an issue I suggestion you start with customer service and go from there. Take care |

| March 30, 2016 Mannjo | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Update on a bat issue About three weeks ago I posted a note about how my miken ultra 2 piece bat telescoped and I was upset with Miken. Well due to the help I received from Mike Macenko who put me in touch with John Baer of Miken ,they have looked at my bat and sent me a replacement. I have always used Miken bats and after this great customer service would not hesitate to buy another. Once again thanks Mike and John. Also thanks to everyone who offered suggestions and to George ,who gave me Mike's name. |

Told no warranty on senior bats. I am in the process of trying to work something out with Miken.i could see if I cracked the bat or broke it. But this is a manufacturing issue. I was told this has happened to two piece bats. Just my thoughts for you to consider. |

I could understand a crack or it breaking. That happens, but not the bat becoming like a telescope. |

I just got off the phone with Miken and Kelly Sports in regards to my Miken ultra 2 max load two piece. It did not crack or break,but the two piece is now like a telescope it goes up and down. I was told this can occur with the two piece design. Just my thought but stick to one piece or buy Dudley or the new combat rocket launcher. These new Miken two piece they want over $200 for. Beware. |

If you want a good used bat for ASA ,look on eBay for the Miken ultra750 max load. It is the green one from 2014'not the new one. If you want a new bat for a decent price,check out cheap bats.com. |
