Discussion: Dont blame SSUSA for the ball problem.

I thought the ball used in Carson was fine. Not sure how it will play with elevation change and the heat.
I've seen the rock for sale on line 44/375
haven't heard a good reason why we can't use that ball.
If the quantity is too hard to get
bring your own ball 44/375 is also good idea.
Nothing wrong with keeping your customers happy.

Discussion: Centennial park 50's

Good times playing ball this weekend. Solid
competition !
Wish we could all play with less injuries but it is what it is.
Unfortunately Centennial park's infield is a joke. It's dangerous and needs turf. With turf Centennial park would be a great venue.

Discussion: Pitchers. A bit insane?

Andy, Randy,Jimbo and Carlos are some of the best pitchers in my area if not the country. They are a hybrid, part middle linebacker & part pitbull. They want you to hit the ball at them. They figure they'll make the play more often then not. To have one of the better teams in the country it all starts at pitcher.

Discussion: Which Ball travels further: ASA or SSUSA

Point taken. I'm actually into situational hitting. My analogy would be, base hits are like lineman in the NFL. You can't win with out them. I was kidding, referring to an old MLB commercial.

Chicks dig the long ball. No long ball equals no chicks.

Discussion: you make the call

First baseman should have either went back to first for the force out or throw to the second baseman potentially covering first for the force.

Discussion: Is batter out

I'm no umpire but I have an out. Fielder shows control with hand bringing up the ball from under the glove. Ball does not hit the ground or fence.

Discussion: You make the call

Let's take the facts as listed. Runner on 1st. Thinks his run doesn't matter so mental misstake, he just watches the play not moving much. The hitter focusing on the hit does pass the runner at 1st. Before the ump calls ground rule double. What's the call ? I don't
know lol

Discussion: Change in the batters box rule

Players over 6' tall don't have to creep up to the front of the box to stride out of the box.
That's what's so great about the new conference rule. Your back foot must stay in the position chosen. You can not creep up or your back foot will not be in the proper position and you will be out. Why cause Anxiety and arguments over a few inches.

Discussion: Change in the batters box rule

Conference play has changed their batter box rule.
As long as the back foot is positioned in the proper location the lead foot can land out of the box. For taller players with long strides this really helps.
It would be nice if Senior Softball took up this rule.

Discussion: batter interference

I've seen many batters catch inside balls and the umpire called them balls.

Previous runner interference discussion.
I've always heard runners must slide or get out of the way. Once you are out it is no longer your base line to stand in. Your entire body can be used for interference not just a hand or arm.

Discussion: Rockin Reno and Carson City

It doesn't matter just your attitude at times.
According to your stats:
2018 Carson
2019 Golden Eagle
2020 no play
2021 Carson

I don't know where you get your math but that's 2 years at Carson in the past three years played, including this year.
