jim44, you may likely need to expand your search if you are wanting to hook up with a tournament team. You would be eligible to play with a team based out of any state that borders Oklahoma (Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, New Mexico, Texas, and Colorado).

Mick13, you do not live in a state bordering Missouri. I would suggest you state your age for others to see on this website in case there are any teams in your part of the country that might be interested.

Discussion: Back Surgery pro's & con's

Research radio frequency nerve ablation. Basically it kills the nerves in each of the facet joints on both sides of a disk. I have it done on 3 disks (L3-5) at the same time. I get about 12 months of pain free activity before the nerves regenerate and the pain starts to come back and then I have it done again. I've been doing it for the last 10 years and holding off having disk replacement surgery as long as I can.

Here's a good starting point for both of you: http://kcseniorsoftball.org/
KC is the largest senior softball organization in the country. We have men's leagues every night of the week and a women's league on Monday nights. We also have many tournament teams for all of the age divisions and various skill levels.

Discussion: Best performing 44/375 softball

Thank you for your comments. In my opinion the 44/375 ISA X-Rock balls are the best....better than the 44/375 ASA X-Rocks, but I would like to hear opinions from others as well.

The below question pertains to a non-sanctioned senior tournament where a team has to hit their own balls, but it must be 44/375. I would like to have opinions as to the best performing ball (out of all brands on the market) in 50-80 degree weather.

From the tournament director:
With great regret I feel I must cancel the Cow Town Classic. The forecast by all is 36 with snow/sleet. Very unsafe. By canceling today the out of town men can cancel and not get charged for their rooms.

Still needing additional players for the Kansas City Barons 60 team. We won the ISA 50 AAA world tournament in 2007 and the SSUSA 50 major world tournament in 2009. We are trying to put as many of our former players back together as possible for a 60 team, but need 2-3 more players.

It is a somewhat laughable question, but none the less a legitimate one. I have no doubt many people would like to see all of the game scores. For instance, the 60 brackets are blank.

SKings24, unless the rules have changed in the last several years, it used to depend on who the major+ player was and whether or not they were deemed to be an impact player.
