| Jan. 11, 2023 HSquared | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: 2023 TOC Lakeland Fla. Curious: The main tournaments page has a hyperlink to "currently qualified teams" for the TOC. And within that list, there is NO listing for {Bandits} in the 60+ Major listing or having won a TOC tournament. Yet, on the detailed tournament page for the TOC, 88 teams are referenced, of which the {Bandits} / 60 division, is one of them. What am I missing? |

" At the published deadline for a tournament, our Master Scheduler will establish the time and date of the “Hard Deadline.” That is the time the schedules will be drawn." QUESTION: (a) How does this "Hard Deadline" differ from the tournament entry deadline ? (b) Is this an auxiliary/secondary date ? (c) How/Where will this "Hard Deadline" be communicated/announced ? |

A courtesy runner may be used for a base runner at any time, but the same courtesy runner may not be used more than once per inning. Any courtesy runner found running more than once per inning will be called out. Any player on the team roster may be a courtesy runner; he does not have to be playing defense or in the batting order. All players listed below are on the official lineup card. 1. Lou Gehrig– 1B 2. Rogers Hornsby– 2B 3. Mike Schmidt– 3B 4. Honus Wagner– SS 5. Johnny Bench– C 6. Ted Williams– LF 7. Willie Mays– CF 8. It is certainly clear that when they move up, within their age group, but the Ranting Index Chart does not reflect an equivalent rank when aging up? 55Major to 55M+ is very clear, but what are they @ the 60 division? 60M++ ? |

One can interpret the ruling to mean, 43 “remaining teams” times the 20% factor, resulting in 8.6 teams getting bumped up. Does the champion get factored into 8.6 team total? Or is it 8.6, PLUS the champion? Thanks for your cerebral moment… |

Funny though, how the cleanliness issue came into play. We had the opposing teams "throw in" the dirty ball(s) [on purpose] knowing that it became tough to see, especially at dusk. |

The question is: Will the number of teams affected be "rounded-up" or "rounded-down" because we all know, the math will never allow for an even number? |
