| April 20, 2011 CV3 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: AUSTIN TEXAS SENIOR SHOOT-OUT !!! Another great weekend for Softball, In the 50 Gold division 1st place went to S.A 50's Softball club (Carlitos)2nd place Austin Rock, followed by Texas Legends, Houston Elite, then Relentless 50's. In the 50's Silver division 1st went to Free Agents, 2nd to Relentless 55's, Mixed Breed, Romo's & Austin A's. In the 60 division 1st place Tanel/Lonestar, 2nd to Texas Tornados, OOP's, Lone Star Texas, Relentless 60's then Lone Star Coin. Like to apologize to the teams for not getting every one out by dark we had to use the lights on a couple of fields due to late starts on all fields. We have thrived on getting four games in one day and on the road before sunset, and will continue to make that our future goal. Other than that great bunch of ball players on each field. Thanks Again !! You guys were a class act. TD |

| Nov. 2, 2010 CV3 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: SAD DAY FOR SOFTBALL #6 I agree with your remarks no matter what the other's say. Great example we were given a invitation after loosing to AA teams in a qualifier tournament. One month later we beat the same teams that beat us in another quilifier which was a two team round robin, so as we sent our $660.00 for Phoenix & purchase our tickets. We then received another rating for winning a three team RR to AAA so we man up and took on the AAA division to learn what we already new we remain a AA team. We beat only one team which actually help us out by not being able to keep the ball in the park. They hit there allowed 3 HR plus kill three innings by hitting 4 more home runs. So my arguement if you give us a invite for losing then stick with it cause the appeal system is a waste of paper and time as far as I am concern. As to the tournament director the last thing we want to do is go all the way to Phoenix and play our neighbors from home as we did there, this also occured to a couple of teams from Canada who were playing each other and were not very happy at all. I been a TD for year's and I do know that I can accommodate teams from playing each other especially if they come from the same city. SSUSA really needs to put this together better !!! |

| Sept. 1, 2010 CV3 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: SSUSA IN BOERNE The five game guarantee !!! should have not been a issue either, but when we finally got the fourth game in Sunday we check with Roy about our fifth game and he gave us the deer with the head light look, And we new what that ment !! So no 5th game no guarantee, especially no credit!!!Again that back field # 3 I lost it going to second and crash and burned trying in four wheel drive through a sand pit & came down on my knee Sat. & that was the end of my game for the weekend, just really bad field condition. And we paid for this !!! |
| Aug. 30, 2010 CV3 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: SSUSA IN BOERNE #6 yep walk into tention Sat. that was thicker than Texas Heat !! Two many game's for our age in one day, no concern's about our health. The down time was just not right, too many teams standing around. We all know what happens to the body when you have to wait several hours, not good at all. My 50 team got to the fields at 7:00am Sat. for a 7:35 check in 1st game at 8:00 fourth game at 10:00 pm finishing the game at 11:20 pm now we love ball just like the next guy but 16 hours on one day, then had to come back Sunday to start at 8:00 am to find out that we had another delay, this relly really took alot of fun out of this guys. We came home with four Dawgs out for a while, and felt like we paid to be abused this past weekend. |

Condolensces goes out to two of our Senior Brothers Milton Brownfield who runs with Sports Line Bulls out of Texas & Tom Brownfield who runs with Relentless 55's out of Texas. Both these guys lost their younger sister to breast cancer this past weekend 8/22/10 our prayers are with you and your family. May God be with you. Your Softball family !!!! |
