Discussion: The 2019 senior bats

Bought the 2019 Adidas 2 piece and the 2019 Miken Johnny Bailey. Over 200 BP swings on the two 28oz. and the 2 hit great for my age. Good pop and distance. Don't get any more distance out of the 2019 bats than the other Maxloads from the 3 previous years. Maybe 100 or so more BP swings I might get a couple of more feet. Ordered the 14" Dudley HW 28oz an if it comes in in January great if it doesn't it's winter.

I like my 28.5oz. To me it swings lighter than my miken maxload.2016,17 and 18. Didn't like the 2019 the swing was to light. Just bought the Johnny Bailey 12 inch an really like it.

Has anyone BP with the 2018 1 piece or 2 piece HYPER Z endload. I have the 2017 2 piece endload and it hits well.

Discussion: The 2019 Miken Big Cat

My friend brought his 2019 28oz Big Cat. 57 degrees,11 mile and hour wind. Tattoo 375/44 core balls. Out the rapper 36 balls I hit 13 over a 300 foot fence with my buddy pitching. Normally I'll hit 1 or 2 out. Allan's right the bats are a little bit better. I didn't like the 28 oz Maxload it filter like it was a 26 oz load. Very light. BP hitting is different than game hitting.

Discussion: 11 on defense

I play 67 and up in rec ball on a 250 field with a 12 foot fence.11 players on the field. I bat left handed so from right center to right 3 outfielders and still have a left and left center fielder. Don't like 11 players on a short field. Makes it hard to have fun for getting an avg.. I guess the younger player is saying just old people. Well let the young players try 11 players once they run out of HR's. Avg. goes down. Fun playing goes down.

It took me around 300 or so swings to get it game ready. Great pop and hits the long ball
well. Using 375/44 core Alan Tanner balls. That's the ball we use in rec ball. Cool or hot weather the ball hits great.

Finally had great weather in the Nashville area yesterday. 65 degrees using tattoo 375/44 core balls and the new big cat. Had a ping on it for a couple of swings and that was it. The first 36 balls 3 went out of 310 ft. Second round of 36 balls 9 went out. That's not bad for 72 swings. Bat felt great at contact. Hit great at the end and the handle. Great sweet spot for the amount of swings. Can't wait until I have 200 or so swings. Just my 2 cents.
