Hey guys how are you doing? See where you 2 have been playing allreadt.
We (Akron Silver Legends) haven't started yet. Waiting for the weather to break up here in Ohio. Warm Sunny days are just around the corner.
I see where BruceinGa is now playing 55 & you hurt your ankle. Hope you are doing better.
Just finally got on this board and this is my first post. Good Luck both of you guys and your teams.

We've had some good weather here for the past two or three weeks. Elmo's team is doing great, winning at Montgomery. I think they have played in a couple of open trounaments in south Georgia also. Our 55+ team picked up one of JAH's players and we played in a USSSA open tournament last Saturday. We surprised a lot of young guys, finishing second out of nine teams. Our plans are to play in Augusta on the 16th. We wish more northern team would travel south for these early tournaments.
The injury to my ankle was a partial achilles tear. Its ok now. Satruday I hyper extended my little finger and believe that it will be ok in time for Augusta. It seem like the older we get the more injury prone we become.
Good luck. Maybe we'll see you in Plano.

Hey BruceinGa, the bangs, springs, tears, pulled muscles is a part of moving up from a 50 team to a 55 team. You will be ok for another 5 years.
Have a great year.

Redeye, it's good to hear from you! I'm looking forward to seeing the Silver Legends in the south. We have had a pretty good start to the season. We were moved up to Major+ and time will tell if we deserve to be there. Still having fun though. Bruce is staying beat up, but you know how those older guys are!! Just kidding Bruce. Look forward to seeing all in Augusta or somewhere down the road.
