Where do you play during the winter month's?
I know it sounds like a dumb question but I'd like to know where the guys play during the winter months.
Do you guys just travel to the play tournaments where it isn't snowing or do you guys have like an indoor
place that you guys can play at. I guess this question is for the guys in the north or wherever there is
snow so you can't play on any fields. When does your season start? Just thought I'd ask.

We play indoors twice a week. As for myself the other days of the week I am out taking BP and taking a couple of laps around the track when done all winter as long as it isn't raining or windy.

Hi Fred,
So is it an indoor complex for softball only? We don't have that here. Its only rain and storms that we got here to worry about. So if you gonna play you guys gotta travel?

No it is a large soccer facility and we use 1/2 giving us 220' down each line. The only problem is low ceiling about 50' high. The good thing about it is that it makes you learn to hit line drives to keep it below the net.

Live in sun city huntley illinois. Once a week indoor 16" no innings limit at a soccer complex. just play for 2 hours. After that lots of weight room, volleyball and pickle ball. Then to top off my conditioning program a beer and cigar at eddie fabros garage once a week.

This year in the snowdrifts in Roswell. We have never seen a real blizzard like this here. But, seriously, we can usually practice outside most of the time, but it is cold-40's and 50's in Albuquerque. but not this year so far. Thanks El Nino.

how can you hit balls in weather that cold? I heard that bats break when the temps get below the 50's.

I live in South Texas and winters are not bad here. If it is below 50, I don't use my senior bat. I use my Worth 454.

My senior bats hibernate in winter. I have very old hunk of metal bats for that.

Here in Michigan there are indoor leagues for young mans ball but no senior leagues that I'm aware of. There is a soccer dome where a bunch of senior players swing twice a week in the morning. There are also several indoor batting cage facilities where one can take swings.
