Blue42 is the new Sports bar in town and it's right down the street from the fields. They have signed on as our official watering hole for the weekend. There are 3 hotels right next to the Vero Beach Outlet Mall that are convenient to everything. Holiday inn express, Country Inn &Suites, and Hampton Inn. Ask for the AARP rate and you generally get better discounts. You can also try on Priceline.

Looking forward to the Training camp. Here are the 3 hotels located close by and right next to the Vero Beach Outlet Mall a famous destination and quite possibly your ticket to get down here !
Hampton Inn 772-774-4010
Country Inn and Suites 772-257-0252
Holiday Inn Express 772-567-2500

Tell them you are coming for the camp and also AARP which usually nets you a good discount. Priceline also works. Don't miss out on a great camp!

Raider,
We limit the amount of players we take so we can spend some one on one time with each attendee. Generally we only have 4/5 players per instructor. Maybe some past attendees who see this can post of their experience. You won't get this kind of attention anywhere else from qualified professional instructors.

raiderman66.....I have been to 2 camps and the instructors are great.....there is no need to worry if you will get enough attention if you attend.....all are very approachable and open to all questions and feedback.....they are some of the nicest and humble people you will meet and great softball people on top of that

We now have players coming form as far away as Canada. If you want more individual attention and not feeling like you are herded at home plate like cattle, my camp might be the best place for you... 😏

A few years ago I attended the Neil Teague camp in florida. It had Jeremy Isenhower, Jeff Wallace, Kristen Dowling, Robert blackburn as the main instructors. All are top major players who were top of the line great to learn from and hang out with. Respectfully I am asking who are the instructors for this camp. When someone will be spending money for a an event like this, that's a legit question on who's the instructors. Thanks

Raider,
Feel free to call me for more in depth information. I am available anytime.
Alan Tanner professional coach , former professional softball and baseball player, 25 plus years working with athletes from beginners to professional and Olympic athletes. Current 50 Major Plus player
Bob O'Brien : pretty much the same as me. Works full time coaching baseball and softball. Current dominate Major Plus player
Roger Bard: coach and dominate infielder in Major Plus softball. 25 years working with infielders and one of softballs best 55/ over shortstops.
Carlos Wade: one of 60/ over softballs longest and farthest home run hitters and student/ coach of the SOFTBALL swing for many years
Davey Reed: may stop by as time allows due to a previous coaching commitment. Davey is usually on our staff full time.
We may have one other guest instructor as well.
That's a quick snapshot. It's better if players can call me so I can explain in detail....
This is not a batting practice play a few innings softball camp. Come to this if you want to learn SOFTBALL skills just for senior athletes that will improve you as an athlete immediately.

I said earlier, I have been to 2 spring trainings and the next one will be #3....you get what you put into it ....there are lots of instructors and if you have a question you ask.....not only does the camp get me into action a lot sooner than my fellow northerners, I can work on things that I feel are weaknesses and work on strengths...if the instructors see something, they will let you know without trying to change your whole approach...sometimes, it's a minor tweak there or a 1/2 step there but it is helpful and something they see can help your game....plus , it's a week for me in 70-80 degree weather...Alan puts on a good show

Probably the best way to put it is, you will feel bad Sunday morning when it's your last day, and you realize it's coming to a close. The comradarie you develop over three days is most of the value
