Our Winter World's 2016 records indicate there were 209 total teams, 30 of which were Men's (18) and Women's (12) 40-Masters teams ...

LM21 My guess is you are either talking about major plus or aaa

Major should be around 10-15 teams

LM21 here is a different way to look at it. Any new teams starting out wont be in AAA. After looking at the current ratings, at best you have 9 AAA team eligible to play within driving distance. Out of those you may get 60%. So best case your looking at 5 teams in the AAA 40s mens.

Posting the teams entered so far is NEVER helpful to a director when the max is under 15 teams. Many teams wait until the last minute to sign up (my team signed up today). So if SSUSA posted yesterday 3 teams have signed up for AAA 40 mens then it would discourage others. In reality though 3 our of 5 isnt bad.

I get your frustration we have been there also. We played in the Texas state championships thinking many teams from east Texas would enter. It was a 4 team (3 from Tucson) event. We made the best of it and thats all we could do.

I know this doesnt solve your problem but maybe it helps process it. There just isnt enough AAA 40s teams. 11 of the 18 at worlds arent going to fly in for this so at best you will have 7 if all come.
