We'll be introducing an upgraded Message Board system sometime later this year and it will have a lot of the functionality that isn't present in this ancient one ... We're "test driving" a few choices now, and poster "edit" and "delete" functions will be present ... We will also be instituting a new member access process to re-join ... Posting privileges will be granted principally only to those who have (or have had in the past three or four Seasons) an active SSUSA Identification card .. This means your SSUSA player ID number will be required to proceed with the registration process ... We intend, on a case by case application review, to also grant posting privileges to non-players such as sponsors, parks and recreation officials, umpires, directors and others who contribute in a positive manner from time to time ... You'll still be able to preserve any desired anonymity you may like with respect to other posters, but not with respect to SSUSA ... We're going to know who posts as a precondition to who we allow to be our guests here ... This will reduce, or maybe eliminate, some of the less-than-desirable posting activity from the anonymous types who likely wouldn't type some of the things they do if they were identifiable to us ...
