| Dec. 12, 2019 Lefty25 1 posts | End loaded vs. balanced bats Our senior league uses Dudley Demolition slow pitch softball bats. We supply end loaded and balanced bats. The end loaded bats are developing a vibration noise when they are dropped, tapped or thrown after the ball is hit in a game. The balanced bats sound solid always. Contacted Dudley customer service and received no guidance or cause as to what’s happening. Players are complaining that the end loads are broken but I have no idea how to confirm that. No warranty on bats so we can’t send a sample back. Dudley says there is no separate end load piece in the bat that may have come loose. Anyone out there with any idea what’s going on? |
| Dec. 15, 2019 Dusty-3 11 posts | I have been swinging the Dudley Lightning Legend (white/green) balanced and it started doing exactly what you describe during the last third of last year's season. Lost it's pop for the most part and gets a lot of curious looks when hitting and dropping the bat. It's obvious that something inside has broken loose. The outer shell is fine! Someone mentioned that there is a bar inside that has come loose, but I have no idea if that is true. |
