March 8 warren60 Men's 65 49 posts | How to handle ejected player I would like clarification on the ejected player rule. If there are 12 players in the batting order and a player is ejected what will happen the next time he would bat and any times after that he bats? If there is no one to substitute? If there is a substitute on the game roster not in the batting order? Thanks. |

March 9 B.J. 1108 posts | How to handle ejected player MB...I'm not sure on their exact rules... but it could be that a certain number of players are needed to field a team.. for example 9 and an ejection causes that number to dip below 9 then that would be a forfeit |
March 9 MB SG #1 18 posts | How to handle ejected player B.J....You are correct in that respect. Their (HWSG) rules state that a team may bat an unlimited amount as long as the players are on their roster and on the line up card given to the scorekeeper. But in starting the game they must bat a minimum of 9 with an out in the 10th spot until the 10th spot is filled with someone on their roster and on the lineup card listed as a sub. But if batting 10 or more and someone is ejected and NO SUB is available the game will be forfeited. |

March 9 B.J. 1108 posts | How to handle ejected player MB .. well that seems harsh if you are batting more than 10.. I could understand an out every time that spot in the batting order comes up... then that means 1 of 2 things... either make sure you have a sub available... or make sure that none of your guys pisses off the umps... lol |
March 9 MB SG #1 18 posts | How to handle ejected player B.J. The Huntsman Games with no border restrictions usually is separated into many divisions with teams coming from all over all playing for medals gold, bronze and silver so it's more of a relaxed atmosphere but yes there are those hard nose guys that sometimes get out of hand and if handled correctly by the umpire can calm them down as to not jeopardize their team and teammates. The umpire with help from the team managers can keep those type of guys intact. Stay safe and healthy |
