ASA Burlington
Does anyone know if they are posting any results for the pool play in Burlington? Just trying to see how some teams are doing this weekend.

I agree Don, Spicers are a great team, first class! We had them down 18-4 and they fought back to win in an early DE game.
Bux, hope to see you again soon.

Bruce,you have a great bunch of guys.You just hit too many home runs.. I enjoy the competition.I can't say I enjoy finishing second yet.

starburst23,

I am not sure if it is their homebase, but Spicer's 331/2 play league out of Olney, MD. Not sure about the 60's Spicers properties team. I play league ball with and against men on both of those teas. I will try to find out a contact, although Dave ( Big Money ) Yinger should be able to help you out. Great bunch of guys on both of the Spicer's teams and also I'd like to say that The group from Southern Slam, Bruce, Don and all of the Kittrells guys are not only a very good team but a great group of guys. Good luck to all in Future Tournament play.

jah#4,
Just to clarify myself in this post above;I was referring to that throw to the plate that broke our backs. I wasn't saying anything "funny" about your pitching. I ain't like that.

I knew it was from the outfield. all of Spicer's loved my pitching that why I when to the outfield and let Bruce come in and get a taste of a hitting machine that you are. Best of luck to all of you, We was lucky to pull the second win out, but after finishing second for 3 years running we was due.
Thanks for all your kind words

Diehard, I would appeciate any help you can offer for a 60's team major or AAA that might need a player for 2009 or the remainder of 2008, Play outfield or first base, 700 plus hitter. Thanks

Don&Bruce;
You know; people can say what they want about these new rules where they are playing 10 HR's + 1up , but that was fun softball we played against you guys . Not too many HR's and everybody has to make plays. Although I wish I was playing 1 HR against you guys(would have given us a better chance).

Good Luck to you guys.
