Discussion: Pre-Game Routine

I believe we all have some pre-game routine we go thru to warm up before a scheduled game. It can be agreed that the vast majority of teams like to take BP before they play. Let's say your first tournament game is 9:00 am. What time would you prefer to wake up? What do you like to eat--or do you like to eat before a game? What are some exercises, stretches, sprints, etc etc that you feel is the best way to get you loose beofre the game? Thanks in advance for your responses.

I try not to deviate from my normal daily routine. Up at 5:30. Have breakfast, varies with my taste buds, usually fruit & cereal, or eggs & bacon, toast, juice and coffee. For me eating is a must, I need the fuel.
Exercises are exclusivly stretching. Then a little BP if time and space permits. Maybe take a few ground balls from a Hot SENIOR Bat and Lively Ball.

E4/E6,rotflmao for that last line in your post.i'm a p&j sammich with a glass of milk for breakfast.make up a travel cup of coffee(most times i have a 2 hr drive to dallas to play)unless i'm already staying in the area.i also make up a drink for the day(1/2gal)that has a whey protein sup, cytomax recoverey, and NOS blast(all powders),with some green tea liquid and water.i also mix the powders into a small plastic container to replenish me during the day, this concoction seems to stop all the soreness i could get after playing all day.i also make up a couple of sammichs(lunch meat) for the day along with bringing more of something to drink.now that i have all that done,i set off to the field.hopefully get a little bp in and some stretching and throwing.if we have no bp planned i like being there about 30 minutes early, don't like sitting around for a ling time.guess thats it.

Stick

I have a silver coin with a naked lady on it, heads and tails. When I can I like to use it in the coin toss.

BTW, thanks for this thread. It'll be interesting to see some of the replies.

E4/E6 I play league with a guy (a left fielder) who puts chicken bones and makes jirations toward them on the left field line before every inning. I'm not sure what the story is behind that, but WEIRD!!
