Jan. 31, 2011 Big D from Tennessee Men's 50 79 posts | Miken Titanium Bats - Is it Legal for SSUSA Guys, in a cost saving move - I have been taken BP - exclusively with a Miken Titanium Bat (Ebay Special 130.00) It does not have as Much POP as a Senior Bat! But is has good pop for BP purposes!! No Dings, No Cracks, No Rattles PLUS a 18 month warranty. I just noticed that the Advertising states that it is Legal for SSUSA - Is this true?? Big D |
Jan. 31, 2011 leftyfalcon Men's 65 158 posts | Big D it's legal for Utrip. The Titanium they are talking about is from a few years back. They hit very well. Are you going to TOC. |

Feb. 1, 2011 leftyfalcon Men's 65 158 posts | Dwight did you try the 29oz balance. Jim still has a 29oz balance reebok and if it's not big difference between it in field and the 28oz endload I might get it. I ordered the 28oz endload but I don't believe it will be in buy the TOC. Feb. 1, 2011 Big D from Tennessee Men's 50 79 posts | Joe, I am swinging the 29oz endload - I didnot try or get any balanced demos. I will be bringing my 28oz MM - Just in case the weather is cool?? Big D |
Feb. 1, 2011 hitman Men's 70 339 posts | Yes, it's legal in SSUSA as it's still a composite with some Titanium additives that don't make it hotter than the Senior bats. Very durable and hard to break-in but I'm sure you won't have any problems breaking it in. Once broke in they are a better than average composite bat. The Hitman |
Feb. 1, 2011 Big D from Tennessee Men's 50 79 posts | Hitman, If this is True - Then I will use it! I will take less POP for CRAZY Durability!! I am beginning to feel like the Senoirs are being "FLEECED". When seniors have to purchase 4-5 or more - Non Warranty bats per year @ 200.00 each in order to be competitive. Thanks Big D |
Feb. 4, 2011 neck10 714 posts | you dont really think titanium is hotter than composit do you Ive hit these new balls with titanium bats it doesnt jump off near as fast as the composit bats do |
Feb. 4, 2011 neck10 714 posts | buy the ultra 2 with asa stamps used on ebay it has as much pop & a lot more durability, the used bat will last longer than the new one's cost a little more. |
Feb. 4, 2011 Big D from Tennessee Men's 50 79 posts | Remeber the goal is COST SAVINGS - I like to take alot of BP The Titainum gives enough pop and everlasting durability for BP Purposes! I agree that most any Senior Bat has good Pop. But as soon as you break it in - It's almost ready to Break! I will take BP with the Titainum and Play games with my Reebok or Combat Thanks Big D |
Feb. 4, 2011 tg69 393 posts | Dwight, why do have to use a bat with pop for BP?you ought to have to hit an ASA bat in games anyhow or wood for you.ha |
Feb. 5, 2011 Big D from Tennessee Men's 50 79 posts | tg69 My home practice field in Memphis is a baseball field. Unused for years, I keep in clean and I work on the field. We never have any problems accessing this field. Therefore a LITTLE POP is needed at 365' in the power alleys!! (Smile) Big D |
