| March 6, 2011 OmahaChuck Men's 60 39 posts | Thanks Bulldog...feedback is appreciated and glad you enjoyed it. I wasn't around when our league formed in 2000 but I believe they started with 4 teams. Perhaps you could find 3 50+ buddies, get a commitment for fields, and then beat the bushes. Many of the local cable TV stations have a city channel that will accept announcements from non-profits. That may help get the word out along with Community announcements in the paper. Wish you great success at developing or finding something! |
