Chuck: Just read your newsletter. It was excellent. I wish me had enough interest in this area to have a league and so forth. I will continue to read it.

Beehard: D10 is correct about bordering states. I live in Alabama but email me and I will give you the contact for a 55 team located in Birmingham and a Tennessee team in Memphis.

Discussion: 50+ AAA registered player from Alabama

I played with Tony for several years. We hated to lose him down south as he is a very good player and can help a team. He can play different positions, a good hitter, dependable and has a good attitude. Someone needs to give a look as he will prove himself. Good luck Tony....................

Ditto Bruce. Next year will be my fifth yesr attending and it is a quality event. Curt and all of his staff put forth a great effort for it to be successful and fill the needs of all attending. I did not take anything Mad Dog or Kevin said as trashing the CST.

At the SPA Winternationals in Pensacola the first of October, there was a LA. Legends in the 50+ and 60+. Think they were a new team and saw a couple of Randy Smith players playing for them.

Discussion: Montgomery Tournament

Montgomery is suppose to have rain on Tuesday PM, Wednesday & possibly Thursday AM. The outfields will be soft and in places muddy. The temps are predicted to be in the high 60s. Ed, certainly better than what you are experiencing but not as warm as we had hoped. Also, a chance of light showers on Saturday. All of this is subject to change but most of this rain will be coming out of the Gulf. My understanding is the games will start Friday and the brackets will be drawn on Wednesday PM. Lagoon Park's number is 334-271-7016. Hope all have safe trips into Lower Alabama.
