JBTexas - I am curious. Do you know if that local tournament in Boerne followed any safety protocol for C-19?

Discussion: 70 Major Plus Players Needed

Enviro-Vac have many of their core players turning 70 in 2019 and have formed a new team that will be playing 70-Major Plus.
We have room to add two players to the roster from west of the Mississippi.

Enviro-Vac teams are fully sponsored and have a 37-year history as a competitive club. Our 70 roster is comprised of players from WA State and BC.

Interested? Text Jim @ 604-789-7690 for more information.

There are some rather interesting changes.

Am I interpreting 13.1 (1) A correctly in that our M+ team(s) can now add four players from out of region to the roster?

Twilight is a good ball player and team-mate. He will help. Our 65 team is not going this year. He lives in Phoenix for a while during the Winter so may qualify as a Snowbird. I don't know the Snowbird requirements.

Are the soccer fields at BLD available for BP during the Worlds?
If not, are there fields available nearby for BP?

Hi Kelly, I know a few players and will let them know you need a player.

Region: You can add a player from any Province in Western Canada or State Bordering (if you know any).

Good luck.

Discussion: New Ball

It was about 100* here in Lincoln, CA today. This is where the 65s are playing Western Nationals. The ball in my opinion is great in all respects. It did not die in the heat like the Trump used to. It does not knuckle or move around like the Rock and though the seems are flat, it throws well.

Discussion: Allen Pampe's passing

We did hear rumors that one of your players had passed. It's tragic and reminds all of us senior players to enjoy the day. Sixty-five is far to young.

Please pass on our condolences to Allan's family and team-mates.

Discussion: Ratings

I should read this Board more often.

I am providing the following facts to provide clarity and correct some misconceptions:

The top two or three placed teams do not always automatically get moved up after a championship. I give 2015 as an example. In 2015 the 65 Major World Championships consisted of 15 teams. Enviro-Vac played the Silver Streaks in the Finals that year to win the championship game by 1-run. Enviro-Vac was the only team to get moved up from that division to M+.

Enviro-Vac played 65M+ at the Winter Worlds in 2015 and all of 2016.

Enviro-Vac placed 2nd in the Worlds in 2017 losing to NJ Hitmen, a tournament in which we won and or lost most of our games by 1-run. AZ Ancients finished in 3rd place and I assume were not moved to M+ because of the 3rd place finish but rather due to winning the Winter World championships in Phoenix in 2017.
