Need A Team 55 or 50
This is Tater: I found out last night that we have lost our sponsor & our team has folded. I am looking for a team in the 55 or 50 Major + bracket; may can drop down & play 50 Major.

Stats:
14 All National or World Trophies
2001 SPA MVP Major +
10+ National Titles
Decent first baseman
Hit 47 Hrs in around 200 AB in 2005 & batted .761.
I am tooting my own horn, but I can use a legal bat & hit with ANYBODY!!!
I am loyal; if I commit, I will not turn tail & run.
Live in Ga; so contact me if you would like for me to tryout.

John, according to the SPA website you can' t play Major. Their new rule doesn't allow for exceptions. Or does it Ridge?

TaterinGa: did you play with the old South MIken team, formerly JAH Masters?

Thanks Bruce; but my question was for a 55 or 50 team to play with; I have talked with Ridge.

Thanks Fran44: I started the JAH Masters team in 03 & played first for a while #50.

John, this was your question:
I am looking for a team in the 55 or 50 Major + bracket; may can drop down & play 50 Major.
I refered you to the new SPA rule that states that you can't drop to Major.
What did Ridge say? Can he make an exception?

Bruce; still the main topic of the paragraph is the 55 or 50 team. If you need an answer about that particular question for yourself, you can contact Ridge personally. That is what I did, so maybe each player that has been left hanging on the Old South team can call Ridge in reference to this rule.

I Have played with Big John for past few years He has the heart and the ability to pick up a team and carry them to a championship. He led our Old South Team in HRS and was One of our leading hitters for Avg. he wants to be at bat when you are 2 runs down in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs. He will help any team he is on. I am proud to have played with him one of the best players that I have every played with See you later in the year

To me this and other message boards are here for us to share opinions and information about this sport that we all love. John, I was hoping you would also think the same and share what you know or were told about the subject of changing the skill level. Your reply shows me that you think this is all about you.
I appologize to everyone else for airing our "dirty laundry" here and won't bring this up again.

I am not airing dirty laundry Bruce; If I have something to say I will send it e-mail, by phone or in person; I am simply indicating that each person needs to call for his own confirmation; that way you get it first hand, not second hand. And yes, Bruce; this thread is all about me, cause I am without a team & that is the reason for my post.

Thanks Don for the affirmation: I will also state that Don has placed all that he could into our team; I hope that you can find a spot. will keep an eye out for you.

Guys, I know this is a huge disappointment for several players, especially myself,
It's very hard when a team splits up and players go seperate ways, but lets remain friends what ever the cause or reason.
