Deepest Sympathy to Scrap Iron and Aurora
On behalf of myself, Senior Softball-USA and all of the teams coming to Aurora in a week to compete in the 2012 Western Nationals, we would like to offer our deepest sympathy to the Scrap Iron Club and Aurora.

It is hard to grasp the mindless violence that erupted early Friday morning and shattered so many innocent lives.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences to those touched by this tragedy.

Terry,

Thank you for speaking on behalf of SSUSA. I'd like to add the following:

With less than two weeks before many senior softball players, friends, and families make their way to Aurora for the Western Nationals, please keep in mind that this community is in mourning. I have two friends there, one nearby in Denver and the other in Aurora. As you can imagine, the community is in a state of shock and disbelief, as is the rest of the country. Let us all remember the emotional situation we will be in, and to be as sensitive and caring to this community as we possibly can.

My son and his family live in Aurora. I also am anxious to see them, even more than before. They are all pretty shook up but safe.

I live in Aurora and have been in that theater over 100 times. I can't even imagine the carnage, terror, and senseless violence that happened in theater #9. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims and the 57+ individuals injured, some still in critical condition. Aurora is still ranked #9 in the lastest ratings of the safest cities to live in the U.S. When all of the ballplayers and their families come to play very soon, they will see what an awesome city Aurora is.
Welcome, from one senior softball player to another!!

To all my Scrap Iron Brothers and to the friends and family of those tragically lost, I send deepest heartfelt condolences. Such a sad and wasteful event.
